Due to the expiry of a Community Fund grant and a shortfall in donations, we are unfortunately having to stop providing some services.

Pen Pals Service

Because of a lack of administrative support, we have had to suspend our pen pals scheme which has offered lone parents the opportunity of linking up with other lone parents for mutual support. A total of 143 lone parents throughout Scotland currently use the scheme, but we will not be able to take on any new users unless we can get some additional help.

Edinburgh Counselling Service

We are also having to end our Edinburgh counselling service which has offered free counselling to lone parents facing a variety of difficulties. The service will finish at the end of March and we cannot now take any new referrals unless new funding is secured for this service.
