NISUS Placement Update
Nicola Sim, the NISUS placement at OPFS, has now finished her time
with us. She has graduated from her course, after a ceremony on
1st July, at Edinburgh City Chambers, with certificates presented
by Sir Tom Farmer.

New Research
Scotland’s Families is collaborating with the Centre for Research
on Families and Relationships (CRFR) to do research in to the impact
of family transitions on the lives of young people. The research
is funded with a grant awarded from the Community Fund.

CaLYPSO
Report Released
The Report on the Camelot funded Calypso Project is now available.
It gives the results of the yearlong project listening to the support
and information needs of Young Lone Parents, and supporting them
to 'Speak out'. Networking Seminars for agencies are to take place
in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dundee to disseminate the findings and
encourage organisations to consider their own services. We welcome
comments.
