Castlemilk parents to become a community group

Our recent 6-week Welfare Reform programme in Castlemilk was a great success.

Ten local parents successfully completed the programme and have now decided to continue their journey as a self-sustaining community group. We are working in partnership with the Ardenglen Housing Association to support the parents in getting the group up and running.

On the last day of the programme, we invited several partners along to meet to parents. A local self-sustaining group called Revive offered their services on the day by bringing along a fun photobooth to demonstrate what can be achieved when working together with other like-minded people.

All of the parents had a great day as can be seen on the group photo and are very excited about the upcoming opportunities to develop their own group ideas.
