Brand New Information Packs
We’ve redesigned some of our most popular publications. New for April 2014 with the updated benefits and tax credits rates are two information packs: ‘Separation and Divorce: Sorting it Out’ and ’ Money for Single Parents’, with a third, ‘Going Back to Work’, to follow shortly.
- ‘Separation and Divorce’ gives parents information on choosing a solicitor, the division of matrimonial property, housing options, sorting arrangements for children, child maintenance, domestic abuse and a jargon buster of legal terms.
- ‘Money for Single Parents’ details the benefits and tax credits a single parent might be entitled to.
- ‘Going Back to Work’ guides parents through the financial implications of returning to work and the childcare options open to them.
The packs can be viewed online or single paper copies are available free of charge by ringing the Lone Parent Helpline on 0808 801 0323. For multiple copies, P&P is charged.
