Exciting new job roles at OPFS

At One Parent Families Scotland we have a committed, skilled team that works hard to improve the lives of single parent families in Scotland. In return, we support our staff and offer them opportunities to develop their career.

We recruit staff from a wide range of backgrounds and ages. We offer flexible working so that all staff can balance work with family and personal development needs.

Currently we have three positions open and the closing date for these is 12th April.

Assistant Manager (Lanarkshire Service)

The Assistant Manager will coordinate the various components which contribute to the Lanarkshire service as a whole, to ensure they are being delivered on time; ensuring that deadlines and project outcomes are met; managing staff and keeping all interested parties in the project informed of progress.

Mental Health and Wellbeing Service National Co-ordinator

The post holder will be responsible for the overall management of OPFS Therapeutic Support, including partnership and volunteer management, collaboration with OPFS Digital to produce online content and communications and development of OPFS Health & Wellbeing Training Services.

Family Support Worker (MHWS)

The Family Support Worker will be responsible to the Local Family Support Service Manager for the provision of 1:1 support and group programmes for single parents which, adopting a psychoeducational approach, will improve outcomes for their families.
