A great day out at Families’ House

A great day out at Families’ House

Around 150 parents and children attended a Fintry Community Engagement event held at Families’ House on Saturday 15 June.

The building was opened up to a variety of activities and information stands covering such areas as: planting seeds, glitter tattoos, face painting, decorating wooden spoons, outdoor play from the local Playbus, and lots of information was accessed about  local family groups taking place in the North East of Dundee.

In attendance were:  The Community Safety Team, Tayside Fire & Rescue, the Police, Sports Development Team, Childcare @ Home, Dundee, The 101 Project, Safer Cities and others.

The new Community Police Officer was there and took part in the activities whilst meeting the local residents.  The weather was kind, the rain stayed away and an enjoyable time was had by all.
