OPFS Survey Results: Single Parents and Stigma 2014

Our poll of single parents on their perception of stigma reveals that three in four (74%) feel they have experienced stigma in the last two years.

The survey also shows that over three quarters (77%) of single parents believe that stigma against single parents has increased in the media over the last two years and that generally stigma is on the rise (78%).

These figures highlight the work still needed to fight stigma against single parents.
