Practitioner Advice Service Evaluation

OPFS is inviting interested applicants to submit proposals for the evaluation of the Glasgow based Practitioner Advice Service that is funded through Comic Relief. The service provides a second tier lone parent financial capability helpdesk for frontline staff.

The overall aim of the evaluation is to provide OPFS with independent evaluation and evidence on the value of the Practitioners Advice Service and to understand and demonstrate the following:

  • How the service is meeting its objectives and outcomes.
  • Assess the effectiveness and impact of the OPFS Practitioner Advice Service
  • To identify potential services changes, opportunities and developments.

The service evaluation is expected to inform the ongoing development of the service and workforce development. It should include recommendations for service development and redesign.

The budget for this external evaluation is £7,000 (including VAT) and a supplier is required to carry out the work.

It is anticipated that the evaluation will take 20 weeks from inception to conclusion and the indicative timetable is detailed in the ITT below.
