Conditionality and Sanctions
This advice guide explains what actions single parents have to take (conditionality) in order to be awarded, and remain entitled to, jobseeker’s allowance while seeking employment. It also looks at difficulties that may be encountered and penalties (sanctions) that may be imposed. Although it relates to most benefits, it applies mainly to jobseeker’s allowance.
